THE COMPANY
D.G. Regan and Associates Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary
environmental services and consulting firm. The company's principal
and various associates have a combined experience in excess of
forty years. We recognize that the most valuable asset of any
firm are the people behind it, and this is reflected in the quality
work performed on behalf of our clients. An initial specialization
in aquatic biology has expanded to now include comprehensive capabilities
in order to service the growing needs of both industry and government.
The expanding affiliations and resources of the company include
specialists and resources in the biological, physical and applied
sciences. Our professional staff are complemented with the necessary
field equipment, survey craft and the services of an established,
well-known chemical analysis laboratory.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE
The array of projects the company and its associates have completed
for government and industrial clients are summarized in the attached
resumes of company personnel. Riparian management, saltwater and
freshwater habitat assessment, inventory, protection, restoration
and enhancement has comprised a major portion of the work completed
by the company.
Our level of experience with respect to measuring the effects
of pesticides, pollutants and industry activities on water quality,
habitat, invertebrate populations and fish populations is extensive.

A sample of corporate experience is summarized below:
- Numerous projects assessing the effects of forestry, mining,
and
pipeline construction activities on aquatic habitats, salmonid
populations, health, survival and habitat.
- Water quality and benthic invertebrate studies for numerous
Forestry, Mining, Pipeline and oil exploration interests in
BC,
Yukon, Alberta, Manitoba and North West Territories.
- B.C. Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks, Pesticide Management
Branch: Field inspectors of forestry-related pest management
programs, evaluation of their impact on wildlife, riparian and
fisheries habitat.
- Extensive design of integrated vegetation management programs,
pesticide use permits and operational guidelines for BC Hydro
Pest Management and CN Rail Engineering.
- In cooperation with an international drug company, product
development of the biorational control agent Bacillus thuringiensis
on invertebrate. Assessed the effects on nontarget invertebrates
and fish populations in various Yukon and northern BC freshwater
streams and salt marsh habitats.
- Developed, in response to a convened public inquiry, BC Ministry
of Environment policy concerning the aerial and ground-based
pesticide applications on Fraser Valley agricultural areas.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Since inception, D.G. Regan and Associates Ltd. has provided environmental
consulting services to all levels of government and private industry
throughout western and northern Canada. International clients
include drug and pesticide manufacturers, mining, and the petrochemical
industry.
